Our cosy house is located in the town of Twizel, and just a 2 minute drive to Lake Ruataniwha. It is a small two bedroom house but has everything you will need to have a great holiday away from home.
Twizel is a lovely place to stay with lots of activities all year round. The house has amazing views of the mountains and on a clear night you'll see the starts light up the dark sky. Two bedrooms, both with queen beds, a small lounge with a smart TV, wifi and a folding table.
There is a deck at the front of the house to sit and enjoy the views. Plenty of space for cars to park.

Summary: The property was a good base for our trips to Mt Cook and the various lakes around the area. It is child-friendly as some books, toys, colouring pencils/markers and board games are provided. The owner also kindly let our kids use the trampoline outside. There are restaurants and 4 Square supermarkets within a short driving distance.
